Fried Onion

1 large onion
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp sweet paprika
oil
salt

Cut onion to very thin slices. Spred them onto the paper towel and pat dry.Put onion in the bowl, add flour and paprika and toss to coat.

Heat the bigger volume of oil in the pan. Take a batch of onions, shake off the surplus flour and fry till light golden brown. Always fry just the amount of onions so the pieces dont overlap each other much in a pan. Be patient and watch your onions the whole time, it looks like nothing is happening but suddenly they are done. Take onions out just a second before you think they are done, they will finish cooking outside the oil.

Place the onions on the paper towel to get rid of the grease. Season with salt till they are still warm. After they cool down they will become crunchy.
